Terms of Use and Conditions

We value your relationship and delighted to have you as part of the BOTANē fam. As per our agreement you are acknowledging that you have taken the time to read, understand and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Kindly read these terms of use carefully as they contain important information including warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.  Frequently Asked Questions can be found in the footer of our website.

Definitions and Application

BOTANē Skin Actives collectively referred to herein as ‘BOTANē’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ means BOTANē Skin (PTY) LTD., ‘you’ means the organisation or individual who is purchasing product on the website, and the “Products” means the BOTANē products which may be ordered on the website.

Orders: Orders are generally dispatched within 48-72 hours, provided items are in stock. All orders and communications related to ordering should be directed to: hello@botaneskin.com. In the unlikely event that items are back-ordered, we reserve the right to retain the full order until all quantities are fulfilled.

Payment

Ecommerce Retail prices are listed in USD, GBP and EUR. Price conversions are taken as a weighted mean over a period of time between currencies. Customers are able to process payment with their PayPal account, alternatively with credit / debit card via PayPal without having an account.

Returns & Cancelations

No returns or exchanges will be granted without prior authorisation. If a product is damaged or defective, BOTANē must be notified via email within 48 hours upon receipt of shipment. No product in your possession over three (3) business days will be accepted for return. Any return of products without an authorisation number will not be processed for credit or exchange. Products returned due to customer error must be authorised and a 30% restocking fee will apply.

Exchanges and Returns

Only items purchased on the BOTANē website can be returned to www.botaneskin.com for an exchange or product credit. Items purchased in a department store, specialty retailer or elsewhere must be returned to their original point of purchase.

Should you make an error when ordering online, BOTANē will happily exchange item for the item for intended item for purchase. The returned item must be unopened and in original sellable condition. You are responsible for the shipping and any additional postage charges.

In all cases, original proof of purchase must be provided and products must be returned within 14 days of receipt for BOTANē for processing. Kindly phone + 27 79 122 1605 or email to hello@botaneskin.com in advance, so that BOTANē staff can assist you.

Shortages

Any shortage must be reported immediately upon receipt of merchandise, within two (2) days of order receipt. Make certain to check shipment against invoice.

Refusals

If an order is refused for any reason, a 30% restocking fee will be applied to your account. If you request the shipment to be sent again, additional shipping fees will be charged. Further shipments will be held until the account balance is paid.

Shipping costs and deliveries

BOTANē offers free global* shipping on retail orders of $99+. We aim to deliver ‘products’ to you at the place of delivery requested by you within the time indicated by us at the time of your order, but we can’t guarantee firm delivery dates or times. Delivery options are set out here, although such delivery estimate information is indicative only. There may be additional import fees upon receipt of goods into your country. The customs / duties fee are the customers fiscal responsibility. BOTANē is not liable for these import fees. Every country has varied regulations on importation duties. BOTANē encourages customers research the appropriate regulatory guidelines and associated fees on imported items for your designated country.

We take every precaution that your shipment is wrapped and packed in protective materials to ensure safe arrival. Once a parcel has been dispatched from our warehouse dock and in the hands of the carrier company, we are no longer liable for the handling responsibility of the package/s. Visible or noted loss or damage due to shipping should be reported to the carrier (and BOTANē) immediately. All claims for product loss or breakage and damage, whether concealed or obvious, must be made to the carrier as soon as possible. The carrier will ask for a detailed damage report (with supporting images). Shipping insurance is a service that protects against lost, stolen, or damaged package/s.

Payment

All BOTANē product orders must be prepaid prior to order dispatch by Transfer Wise, PayPal, Forex, International Wire, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover.

Promotions / Sales

In the event of a promotion or sale a coupon code| voucher |promotion code will be provided. Coupons, vouchers, other promotions may not be combined, used with other coupons / previous orders, sales or discounts. Shipping rates may apply to promotional orders. See ‘Shipping’ for further notes.

Storage

Due to the concentrated natural active ingredients in our products, we recommend short term storage at 50-78°F / 10 – 25°C; longer term storage at a climate-controlled environment at 40 degrees °F / 4°C or below; out of direct sun exposure and humidity. Refrigeration is ideal. Containers should be tightly closed when not in use to avoid moisture and oxidative alterations.

Plant-based Ingredients

BOTANē Skin Actives products contain plant-based ingredients and not intended to Diagnose, Treat, Cure or Prevent any Disease. In the rare occasion, individuals could have an adverse reaction to ingredients. Immunologic responses are complex; BOTANē will not be liable for any adverse product reactions and / or personal injuries incurred due to the application / use of our products. All ingredients are listed on our website and secondary packaging. Customers are advised to familiarise themselves with the listed ingredients and should avoid use if individual has an allergy to any ingredients. We advise a patch test to be conducted prior to use to any of our products.
